Aides in determining wooded areas, ledge
outcroppings, wet locations, potential
contaminated materials (ie. old dump sites,
factories, gas stations), demolition quantities (ie.
existing structures, paving), etc.
2D Layout Plan
Shows the areas used for takeoff calculations
(ie. paving, sidewalks, base slabs, topsoil
replacement, etc.)
3D views provide visual confirmation that data is
entered correctly.  Just a few bad data points
can drastically skew results.
3D View - Existing & Proposed
Indicates where the major cuts and fills will
occur.
3D View - Proposed Design
Shows subgrades for buildings, roads, drives,
sidewalks, pool, etc.  Takeoff Report indicates
material depths used (ie. concrete slabs, base
and stone pads, bit. pavement, etc.)
